After saying this many of you may think I am crazy but I will state the facts. Back in March of 1997 the Comet Hale-bopp was on its path and it was the most visible Comet in many Decades leading many Phoenix Arizona residents (I am a resident and witnessed this event) out side at night time to see if they could spot the Comet in the sky. There were also many rumors in the Ufology community that there was an Unidentified Flying Object un earthly trailing the comet (not sure if that was true lol). On the night of March 13, 1997 there was one of the most massive UFO sightings here known now as The Phoenix Lights witnessed by Thousands of Arizona residents all over the state. I saw it myself with my own eyes. There were HUGE UFOs seen as well as many Amber Ords in the sky’s. A few days later on March 26th an Occult organization known as Heavens Gate, the leader and its many members claiming for many months that they were going to catch the UFO following the Hale-Bopp committed mass suicide with some kind of Poison Agent. Through these past years I have pondered if there were any connections with these events and I come up in the end with it was all just coincidence. In March 1997 an uidentified flying object flew over the entire city of Phoenix. Aprrox 10.000 people witnessed the incident making it the biggest mass sighting to date. Kitei MD Nearly 13 years since the largest mass UFO sighting known as The Phoenix Lights, researcher Dr. Lynne Kitei shared her astonishing eyewitness testimony of the incident, as well as talked about similar sightings leading up to the March 1997 event. One such encounter occurred in 1995, when Kitei says three amber-colored orbs in a triangle formation hovered above her community in the desert. Kitei recalled an eerie silence falling over the neighborhood, the topmost orb slowly fading from view, and the feeling that an intelligent presence was watching her. Kitei snapped photos of the orbs she saw that night and sent them (some years later) to be examined by Dr. Bruce Maccabee, a former US Navy optical physicist. Noticing how the skyline lights changed in the pictures, Maccabee determined that at least an hour, if not more, had passed between the first and last shots. Kitei said she remembered the sighting taking only a few minutes and believes the photographs offer proof of ‘missing time.’ Two years later, in January 1997, she had another sighting. Kitei described seeing six points of lights, equidistant from each other, moving together in a massive mile-wide configuration. PHOENIX – More than a decade after the “Phoenix Lights” appeared over the Valley people are still searching for answers. It was 13 years ago Saturday that the lights captured the worlds attention and for one Valley woman it was a life-changing event. On March 13, 1997 a sighting over Phoenix became the most famous mass UFO sighting in the world. The so-called “Phoenix Lights” changed Dr. Lynne Kitei’s life. She was one of the hundreds of witnesses. She says, Once I knew that other people had seen what I had seen, that really hit home because wow, maybe what I have documented is important.” For the last 13 years she has researched the sighting, hoping for answers. She says she even set aside her medical career for several years. You know, I’ve tried to look endlessly, meticulously for a logical source and meaning for what I witnessed and photographed.
