I’d like to see if anyone else has seen this phenonema from the same perspective as myself:
That a very secretive segment of the US govt has been developing UFO type vehicles since post WW 2; in fact, so protected that other US agencies are kept blinded by it’s existance? That there are NOT little green men from Mars, but merely specialized scientific pilots selectively trained to design and fly these UFO’s…and that the REASON that it has not been openly disclosed is because the US does not want to be forced by either American Citizen pressure (Congress) or World opinion to SHARE this technology as we were forced to do with the Atom bomb?
That the US (or perhaps not even US operated…maybe an independent company…) will keep this high tech hidden unless a World War situation is forced upon us for survival, THEN our strength thru UFO technology would be announced…
Has anyone else considered this perspective?

Guess thats why when I hear new sightings, I smile

  1. That is not a plausible theory. The U.S.was not forced to share the secrets of the Atom bomb. All Atom bomb secrets were either stolen by spies or learned independently by the scientists of other countries. The same would have happened long ago to a secret program to develop UFO type vehicles, if one existed. Secrets, especially big ones like that, are not so easily kept as you suppose.

  2. Have you ever considered that UFO sightings ALWAYS come from people who are not smart enough to make sense of their own observations?

Just a thought… and way better an explanation than having to assume the existence of a giant government program to develop aircraft that could not possible fly because of the laws of nature.

  3. What you mean like the VZ-9- AV Avrocar?

UFOs are unidentified flying objects, they can be anything from a faint image of Venus, to alien vehicles, to military vehicles, to something as simple as a misidentified plane. I’ve considered everything possible.

  4. At one time, the military did have this thing that looked like a flying saucer, but I don’t think it was ever put into service. I’ll see if I can find a picture of it.

As far as UFOs and ETs are concerned, I honestly believe the government has no interest in that whole phenomenon. They don’t think it’s anything but human imagination and mistaken identification.

  5. This explanation has been tossed around for at least 30 years, and probably longer. Who knows, it may be correct, but far more likely the vast majority of sightings are mundane lights and glows that you’d have to be an astronomer to identify.

People are simply not trained to identify unusual glows correctly, but they are trained to believe everything they see on TV and film.

  6. Why does it have to only be U.S. A.F.? y not Army or Marines? For that matter y can’t it be Japan they are, in my opinion, the most technically advanced nation, or Russia, They did beat us in space you know? Why is EVERYTHING a CONSPIRACY?
the reason I believe it is not a super-secret 80 year old government project is because every weapon that has been produced has been used. You wanna know why we keep fightin’ we got toys to test out!
N-E-way I think that after 80 years of experimentation, the gov. is smart enough to come up Whit something great.
For cryin’ out loud, they got satellites hundreds of miles in space that can tell whether you’re cookin steak or chicken. They can even read license plates on cars speeding on the freeway!
They’re manufacturing’ atoms of all things now.
They don’t need to be so long in figuring out what they want to do.

  7. How is it possible that not even ONE person blew the whistle? Fear of imprisonment or execution is not necessarily a deterrant to potential whistle blowers as history proves. A government project like that would need so many people.

  8. From the ground the F-117 and the B-2 aircraft look kind of like a UFO for people who have never seen them. When their existence was classified, people might have mistaken them for UFO. That might be happening for currently classified aircraft.
