In the movies, it tends to be the President of the United States, but why not some farmer. Does NASA, or SETI have someone for this job?

Sure, there is much debate about UFOs and alien life, but what do you think the reaction or consequences would be worldwide if it were proven beyond a doubt, or if we actually made contact with alien life?
Would extraterrestrials visiting Earth be like Christopher Columbus. If you remember your history, Christopher Columbus sold native Americans into slavery. Many died on the voyage back to Europe.
Or, do you believe that these are genetically modified humans time traveling back from out distant future?
Sagan also wrote a paper telling us to be prepared for aliens living on the far side of the moon. It amazes me that no one questions the often quoted:
“Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence”
When you look at this statement critically, it make absolutely no sense at all. In essence, you are saying favor the Beta error over the Alpha error at all costs.
Let’s just say Aliens from 4.000 light years away were traveling.
They are far more advanced than us and can go just below the point were they go so fast time seems to slow down for them were to visit earth.
They see the oceans, cars, land, and maybe even Humans.
What do you think they would make on a first impression?
And after they decided to land (considering they are friendly and mean no harm)

I don’t know if I believe in the ‘alien’ stories of this earth, but I do believe in the fact that our galaxy and space itself never ends, and the possibility of some type of life out there is very possible.
Why do you think people depict Aliens with cruel intent that snatch people from earth to do their crazy experiments and whatever else? IMO, if there is Aliens that have the technology to come all the way to this planet and study us from a distance. Wouldn’t you think THEY would be the more advanced & intelligent. With intelligence probably comes the will to create peace and harmony. If someone was so advanced and smart, I don’t think they would want to create problems, but improve
If there are these other beings out there, watching us from afar, I think they may be intimidated by us. If you really think about it. We are very primal and untrustworthy species in comparison with a far more advanced society of intelligent beings. I think they look at us like vicious animals that could be to risky to come down and make contact with because we would try and destroy them, or end up going chatoic.
I don’t know if I believe these people abducting all kinds of humans to do experiments. Why would such an intelligent group of beings want to constantly see how the human body would work? Apparently they have done it so much, you would think a being soooo intelligent would know very well how the body works. I think it is BS that they abduct people from earth personally.
Titanic, but thats what a lifeform of any sort from afar would be. Alien. Look up the term Alien in a dictionary.
I do agree that the stereotype of how an alien looks is off though. It could simply be anything. There is no concrete proof.
