i want your reasonig about why you answered, with your answer

Just about every indigenous culture on Earth has stories about gods coming from the sky and ruling them. Not only stories but paintings and rock carvings also. I believe that a myth is history that no one believes can be true and thus no archeologist takes serious enough to investigate.
I’m referring to intelligent extraterrestrial beings (aliens, not micro-organisms).
There seems to be a lot of personal accounts, photographs and actual items (whether accurate or not) supporting the evidence that extraterrestrial beings have visited earth, along with ancient civilisations and records having information regarding aliens.
But there also seems to be a lot of people who completely disregard anyone who says aliens have visited earth and call them delusional or insane.
My question is – can someone please give the best explaintation they have for believing that aliens have visited earth or that aliens have not visited earth with reasoning behind your answer or opinion?
Because I really don’t think THAT many people can have common physical symptoms, thoughts and experiences or them to be ALL real (it’s very obvious some are hoaxes) or all of them to delusional or insane.
There must be more to it – or another explaination at least.
I’m serious about this question, and I’ll be picking the starred question, so the person who gives the best reasoning behind it will probably be chosen.

okay , this is the documentary “Chariots of the gods” based on the theories by Erich Von Daeniken.
I need your opinions on this.
Please do not present your opinions unless you have seen the documentary.
If you haven’t seen it.. it’s a very interesting documentary to watch nevertheless.
Please see it and give me your ‘informed’ opinions please.
Obviously I would appreciate opinions of those who have knowledge in the relevant fields.
Please elucidate if :
1) you think it’s a possibility
2) you think its absolute hogwash (you need to reason it though)
3) you think its convincing beyond doubt that aliens have visited ancient earth.

How was it possible to move a 100 ton block with no wheel. How can scientists explain puma punku with it’s stone cutting techniques, how do archeologists explain the great pyramid and it’s exact layout to true north south east west and directly centered between all the land mass in the world, how can u explain similar structures found all over the world, pyramids elongated skulls and sculptures.
How do scientists explain animal mutilations and unexplained flying objects, or structures that would be difficult to build today with modern machines?
I just can’t believe what I was taught in undergraduate school much anymore + baby boomers seem to lie constantly on other subject matter if they are benefiting
